It's been quite a long time since I last posted something here, so I thought I'd refresh the book list a little just to keep it going. I don't think anyone's gonna look at this, but I'm gonna do it anyway because it's part of my holiday homework (ugghh). So here it goes!

The Twits is another book from the famous author Roald Dahl, who wrote the epic story Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. If you've ever read that story, you'd know that Dahl loves to write funny but meaningful stories, which have unrealistic and strange settings and characters. This book would follow just along that line. It's shorter and much easier to read than some of Dahl's other books, but it still has that charm in it. Here comes the summary!

Mr. Twit is an extremely hairy man. Mrs. Twit is a very ugly woman. They're a perfect pair - a perfectly disgusting pair, that is. They're also quite evil, both to each other and to the other animals and people of the city. They do vile things and think vile thoughts - making a family of monkeys stand on their heads everyday for six hours, and catching birds to make bird pie, they do all of it. But then a great big Roley Poley Bird comes from Africa to rescue the monkeys. What will become of them and the Twits? Will they survive? Read it to find out more!

This story teaches an important lesson to kids who read it - do not bully other people and think that you have won because they will fight back eventually and you will lose. It teaches that lesson in an interesting and funny manner, and with the twists in the plot and hilarious pictures, kids all around will be scrambling to turn the pages. Any kid can understand this - even the little ones, as long as an adult helps them and explains.

Have fun reading this spectacular book!
